Orthotist – Grade 1/2 (Full Time)

We are seeking a motivated Grade 1/2 Orthotist to join our dynamic team in a full-time position based in NSW.
About the Role
You will work with both paediatric and adult patients, including presentations such as cerebral Palsy, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, polio, orthopaedic, rehabilitation and many more cases. The role offers exposure to contemporary orthotic practice within a collaborative and innovative environment.
You will be involved in the on-site manufacture of orthoses, including traditional fabrication methods and 3D printing technologies, as well as measurement and fitting for Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO). Comprehensive training will be provided where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical assessment, fitting, and review of orthoses
- Effective communication with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary health professionals
- On-site manufacture of traditional and 3D-printed orthoses
- Measurement and fitting of Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO) (training provided)
- Attendance at external clinics, including hospitals and private practices
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent)
- Experience in public and/or private health settings (desirable but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Well organised with strong time management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Australian Driver’s Licence
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check (required)
