Our orthoses use strategically placed panelling which apply translation forces to position the body into improved postural alignment. This new biomechanical state combined with enhanced proprioception, stimulates and adjusts the neuro-sensory system, training muscles to work with improved tone, strength and performance.

Dynamic Movement Orthoses use elastomeric fabric which is soft, flexible and strong. The benefits of this material hold many benefits over rigid bracing, such as:

  • Greater proprioception
  • Permits range of movement
  • Encourages muscle usage
  • Patient compliance
  • Patient comfort

Dynamic Movement Orthoses offer a number of physical benefits to the user including:

  • Improved posture
  • Improved movement control
  • Improved proximal or distal function
  • Reduced involuntary movements
  • Pain relief
  • Decreased associated reactions
  • Easier transfers
  • Improved therapy sessions
