OP3D is the central fabrication arm of Korthotics, specialising in 3D-printed spinal orthoses including TLSOs, LSOs, Scoliosis Braces, and Shower TLSOs.

Using advanced pellet printing technology, we deliver orthotic solutions that are durable, precise, and efficient—minimising manual processes while maximising consistency.

As the exclusive Australian distributor for OP3D, Korthotics gives clinicians and patients direct access to cutting-edge spinal orthotic technology.

Since 2021, we’ve led the way in 3D-printed spinal bracing, launching Australia’s first 3D-printed TLSO. Our commitment to research, development, and clinical partnerships continues to shape the future of orthotics and patient care.

OUR 3D PRINTED SPINAL ORTHOSIS RANGE

3D Bivalved TLSO

3D Bivalved TLSO

The 3D Bivalved Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis (TLSO) is composed of a custom-fitted anterior (front) shell and posterior (back) shell, joined together with Velcro straps, loops, and chafes.

Designed for easy donning and doffing, this orthosis is particularly suitable for patients with severe spinal fractures/injuries who may have limited mobility.

Each TLSO is digitally modelled from a CT scan and clinician’s prescription, ensuring precise fit, comfort, and effective spinal support.

3D Anterior Opening

3D Anterior Opening

This orthosis opens at the front, making it easier for patients to don and doff the brace independently or with assistance in both clinical and home care settings.

The closure system typically includes velcro straps, loops, and chafes, providing secure fastening and adjustable compression to suit individual needs.

The anterior opening design is often a practical choice for patients with stable spinal fractures or those requiring effective pain management.

3D Shower TLSO

3D Shower TLSO

The 3D Shower Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis (TLSO) is a specialised brace designed for use during short periods, such as showering.

Featuring a figure-8 strapping system, it provides both postural correction and spinal support, enabling patients with spinal fractures to be safely supported while hair and body are washed.

This unique design offers an important balance of safety, hygiene, and comfort for patients requiring spinal stabilisation during personal care routines.

3D Scoliosis Orthosis

3D Scoliosis Brace

This orthosis is an example of a Chêneau-style brace, designed specifically for the treatment of scoliosis.

Each scoliosis orthosis is individually designed and 3D printed, ensuring the highest level of personalisation and comfort for every patient. Using advanced digital scanning and CAD modelling, we achieve a precise fit that supports effective spinal correction while enhancing wearability and aesthetics.

The result is a lightweight, durable, and breathable orthosis, tailored to each patient’s unique spinal curve and clinical requirements.
