How does the Bunion Aid work?
The Hallufix Bunion Aid combines a hinged splint with metatarsal and toe straps to gradually correct the position of the big toe, thereby reducing the size of the bunion and providing pain relief. A metatarsal pad is also included which lifts and supports the mid-foot bones to correct how weight is distributed while walking or standing.

The Bunion Aid therefore has three important functions:
- The big toe is realigned
- The metatarsal arch is stabilized
- The foot is returned to its natural position
